Can you imagine the sheer joy of the shepherds on the night they got their first Christmas card? A host of heavenly angels broke through the darkness and proclaimed the birth of Jesus in song and glorious light.
The shepherds hurried to the manger expecting to see crowds around the new baby, but instead found they were the first and only visitors. In the quiet of the night, they discovered there is nothing more precious than being in the presence of God.
