Teaching elementary school children has been Ruth’s passion for many years. In retirement, she looks forward to spending more time reading, writing, and researching her next novel. Ruth and her husband, Terry, live near Appleton, WI. They love to travel, spend time with their children and volunteer for ministry opportunities.
Ruth Schmeckpeper tells stories wrapped in words of encouragement. Her novel, Not Without a Fight, is inspired by her belief that marriage is worth the fight. Ruth is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers (ACFW), Word & Pen Christian Writers, and Serious Writer Club.
